On Gran Canaria you’ll find a great range of scenery, from the wonderful landscape of the Maspalomas Dunes to the picturesque areas in the mountains and the fertile valleys in the foothills. The island has pleasant, stable temperatures and a mild climate (one of the best in the world), making it an excellent tourism destination all year.
Playa del Inglés: a dream beach for a dream holiday
Playa del Inglés is right in the middle of a wonderful 7 km sandy beach in the south of the island. Up to 100 metres wide in places, this beach is a haven for sunbathing, swimming, kitesurfing and other fun sports.
The famous dunes in the south of Gran Canaria stretch as far as Maspalomas.
Shopping / Medical attention
Right opposite our bungalow resort there’s a small supermarket. The well-known Cita Shopping Centre, complete with German bakery, is 200 metres away, and the large Yumbo Shopping Centre is a 10-minute walk. Also within 200 metres, on the way to the Cita Shopping Centre, you’ll find a pharmacy and a medical centre. Hospital San Roque has a wide range of medical specialties. You’ll find it in the neighbouring area of Meloneras, a 10-minute drive away.
